NYPD Officers Pulled Over NY Schools Chancellor’s Vehicle for Traffic Violation

NYC schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott was on his way home to his Queens home last Thursday night when two NYPD officers pulled over their vehicle for nonexistent traffic violation. When Walcott asked the two plainclothes officers why they are being pulled over the officers answered that the driver failed not make a turn signal. The school chancellor denied the allegation saying he heard the turn signal. Nevertheless the two officers from anti-crime unit run a license check and when they realized who they were up with they let Walcott away without issuing a ticket. Walcott denied asking the officers to waive the traffic violation ticket.

This incident is now being handled by internal affair bureau. Walcott has been working with NYPD in the past. When asked if this I another of race related incident he declined to comment on this issue.
