The date to remember is May 7, 2011 as the new boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao takes on Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After beating up a few Mexican fighters the Filipino Congressman takes on a challenge to an American boxer. The boxer and his trainer coach Freddie Roach has different version on how the fight will end. Roach stressed that knocking out their opponent is a nice way to end the fight. While on the other hand Pacquiao said that knockout was not the focus of their two month long training.
Mosley with records of 46 – 6 – 1 with 39 knockouts has never been knockout on his entire professional career. On the other hand Pacquiao with 52 – 3 – 2 with 38 knockout has second thought of stopping his opponent earlier during the fight. Not Filipino fighter is clearly not taking the opponent lightly. He is more concerned on making a good fight, he has prepared for 12 rounds fight that he dedicate to his people and to his fans.
